In July 2016, the General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/70/286, whereby Member States agreed that money withheld from individual United Nations personnel in connection with substantiated cases of sexual exploitation and abuse should be transferred to the Trust Fund in Support of Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
