UN and AU Task Team on SCR 2719

Security Council resolution 2719 (2023) on consideration of requests from the African Union Peace and Security Council to access UN assessed contributions for African Union-led peace support operations was adopted on 21 December 2023. Since then, CDS has been a member of the UN and AU Task Team as well as the internal UN Task Team to move forward on the resolution, further strengthening the partnership between the UN and AU as well as on the AU Accountability Framework.
