On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the non-governmental organization “Social Way” paid tribute to UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Sigrid Kaag and her efforts for Lebanon. “By paying tribute to Mrs. Sigrid Kaag, we honor all the women in the world who have excelled and starred in different fields. The diplomat, Mrs. Kaag knew how to deal with the diversity and challenges of our small country,” said Wafa Khoury, president of Social Way. In turn, Special Coordinator Kaag encouraged women’s engagement and participation in political and leadership positions in Lebanon. “Give the space for the voice, representation and participation of women,” the Special Coordinator said.
